IMPORTANT NEW INFO :
All Level classes include centering, warming, breathwork, poses. The small studio allows me to guide entry - advanced levels of ability and to ensure safety, comfort, challenge, depth and fun! Thank you for being fully vaccinated and for being mindful of attending class earlier if you are a townie or coming later if you live in the woods. 5:00 Thurs. can help accomodate those attending Zen at 6:15 or are coming after work.
COST & SCHEDULING: Classes will cont to be $10 DONATION based. NEW REQUEST: that you pre-pay (if possible) month by month if you are a "regular." Example : calculate how many times you will be coming, you know your schedule. If its once a week throw in $40. If its twice do the same or add more mid month. YOU keep track. And If you don't use it are you willing to loose it? Why? I am committed to teaching Not for Profit & at low cost. But a full class is 8 people (still spaced 6 ft) & when there are multiple last minute cancellations I & ultimately TNHC (our generous host) takes a hit. If you have outside issues that come up, esp regarding health, carry any pre-pay over. NOTE: TO SECURE YOUR SPOT YOU NEED TO NOTIFY ME A DAY IN ADVANCE OR HAVE ME SCHEDULE YOU AHEAD ON MONTHLY STUDIO CALENDAR. I will do my best to notify you in advance if something comes up with me. Text messaging works best.
PROPS : I hope to have a half a dozen new blocks in the studio soon & will be using them in some asana. There are blankets, mats, and some straps available.
MUSIC & CHANTING : Ancient Sanskrit was sung & changes brain chemistry. I use it & am highly aware of its sacred Indian origin. I also use recorded drum, flute, and bowl tones.
GUEST TEACHING : I've done some locally and now that the world has opened up I hope to do some in Mpls. Sometimes I wonder " are yo too dang old?" The answer is YES for teaching/doing complicated arm balancing poses, also my Bird of Paradise flew away. But NO for sharing the magic of Kripalu Moving Meditation. Side Note: i will be returning to the Mother Ship this fall with Sudha Lundeen & assisting her with a program. I'll keep you posted over the summer on any Retreats and if we are able to make a pit stop on the way to Mass to teach.

The Clearing Studio accomodates 8 students max to insure social distancing. Important: You must notify me a day in advance to secure your spot, ideally a day in advance if you are not. There are limited props so I encourage you to bring your own.
I teach intuitively according to who is present so classes are not pre- designed but they do include centering, pranayama, postures & moving meditation. Please let me know if you have any questions!

There is no waiting area so you walk directly into the Clearing ( as quietly as possible but its not easy, Ambi Yoga Sangha enjoys seeing each other, And I am Happy to see YOU!
CONTACT ME with any questions. Once spring comes I will make an effort to have a monthly Saturday class. Weather and illmess continues to throw curve balls into a steady routine! However the snow has been fabulous and outdoor sports and acitivites have been great. I have been creating mazes in the woods on snowshoes.
